Pro-Line Slash 4×4 ProTrac kit sneak peek
Pro-Line have released a sneak peek of their new Slash 4×4 ProTrac kit. Near completion the kit will consist of new suspension arms and turnbuckles to widen the geometry of the truck for smoother handling. The arms have multiple mounting locations for suspension tuning and the wheels, which will most likely be included, will be the popular ProTrac negative offset matching other popular SC trucks such as SC10 and Losi. Tresrey DEX210/410 hop-up parts

Tresrey have released new hop-up parts for the Team Durango DEX210/410 expected to be released in early February. First up is the aluminium RF suspension hanger for more stiffness and durability. Changing “kick-up” angle to 3deg from 2deg which is kit standard makes the rear of the car more stable and gives you more room to set-up. Aluminium front bulkhead (red/DEX210) Direct replacement to the standard plastic one for more stiffness and durability. MIP ‘Real Shocks’ Bypass1 piston technology
MIP have announced the release of their ‘Real Shocks’ Bypass1 piston technology. Unlike any piston seen before in the RC Industry, this Piston is design inspired by Real Off-Road Vehicles. The basic drawback of a stock piston is that when the shock compresses, all of the oil must be forced through the provided holes at once. Of course, this design works to an extent, but as the shock moves faster and more force is applied the oil simply cant travel through the holes fast enough. Italian company Vertigo performance tyres have released a new rim made with a light polymer with graphite polymer inside. The new rims guarantees top performance during a complete race, without the structural deformation normally caused by hot temperatures. Spy shots of the new slipper from AE

The new slipper utilizes a basket that contains two newly designed pads, along with a new friction plate and slipper plate. The new slipper provides more clutch pad surface area to slip, allowing for a much more consistent slipper clutch feel throughout a race and from race to race. EFRA clarify 1/8th Track rules
Having received clarifications on the new EFRA 1/10th IC Track rules just 2 weeks ago, today it is the turn of Sander de Graaf, 1/8th track chairman, to clarify the rules for his section. The confusion surrounding the new rules, voted on at the recent AGM, has again to do with the date of implementation. Most of the new rules will come into effect this year with the exception of the new lower weight limit of 2400 grams which will only come into affect in 2013.
