Pro-Line have announced the soon release of the Camaro GS body for Traxxas’ 1/16 scale rally chassis. The body resembles one of the hottest of today’s american muscle cars and will very likely come as clear polycarbonate shell including detailing stickers for lights, grille and more. Capricorn 1/8th reverse clutches & shock pistons
Capricorn introduce the reverse clutch design for 1/8th scale on-road chassis of Motonica, Serpent, Mugen and Shepherd. Compared to the old body posts the redesigned items are much stronger and also offer the possibility to fine tune the height of the body with the help three different recesses in the mounting plates. Sirio XL3 Tuned .21 engine
Sirio have released their XL3 tuned .21 engine for 1/8th buggy and truggy classes. The 3 port motor features hand tuned liner, crankcase and crankshaft, which has been lightened. A modified piston helps improve performance further while the lightened cooling head helps lower the centre of gravity. Short Course Kings Series Rd3 report
Round 3 of the Short Course Kings Series race took place in the small town of High Springs, FL at Shiverville Raceway. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect with the sun shining and temps in the upper 70’s. The track developed an exceptional groove from Friday afternoon practice giving the 110 racers all the traction they could handle leading into Saturday’s official race day. Mile High Indoor Champs report
This past weekend, the Colorado On-Road R/C Club held its 1st annual Mile High Indoor Champs, a race whose outcome determined the ROAR Region 10 champions for 2012. Team CRC’s Max Kuenning walked away as double champion in the both 17.5 1/12 and 13.5 WGT classes. Dave Ehrlich’s victory in 13.5 1/12 gave Team CRC a clean sweep of the pan car classes. René Puepke has taken victory at round one of the Western German Championship in the 1/10 scale on-road nitro class which was held at Dormagen in the north of Cologne. Following a one-year-break Mugen racer Sebastian Buerge came on second at his comeback just in front of last year´s runner-up Andy Weyhoven with his Xray. A total of 43 competitors, 33 in 1/10 and ten in the KWC class (Kyosho World Cup) made it a promising start into the season. For comparison: One year ago only 26 drivers competed in 1/10 scale at Dormagen. Following the successful Nitro-West-Warmup one week ago at Oberhausen …

Ryan Maker joins Serpent team
Serpent have announced that they have signed top Australian driver Ryan Maker to their team. Ryan will mainly run the Serpent 411 in the 1/10 EP TC class, but will also run the Serpent 966 in the 1/8 scale class. The 8th round of the Florida gas on road series was held at Nuggets Raceway in Arcadia, Florida where the USA ROAR Championship will be held later this year. Racing in the Florida series is always very intense and this race was no exception with very exciting and competitive mains. Drake & TLR clean sweep at TLR Winter Series
The 2012 TLR Winter Series has completed and it was a TLR/Novarossi/Pro-Line/Nitrotane clean sweep of both the expert buggy and truck class podiums. In the buggy class it was Adam Drake that took the series from his team mates Colby Poh and Drew Moller while in truggy it was another title for the Drake this time with Drew Moller in the runner up spot while Cody Smith completed the podium.
