Steel cage death match tomorrow between Kellogg and Focht
March 22, 2013 Categories: RC News, The Big RC Comment
The battle will heat up again tomorrow at Top Gear Hobbies between Kellogg and Focht. Yes there is a big point series starting up at Top Gear Hobbies on saturday and then continuing Sunday at Northwest Hobbies. The real series is between Cameron “camshaft” Kellogg and Kevin ” bone collector” Focht. It’s round 4 and Top Gear has added some steel fencing around the track for this one. Focht leads the series by default 2-1, as Kellogg can’t seem to keep his car on the track. It seems too fast for Camshaft to handle. Neither driver can seem to figure out what manufacturer…

Product Overview The AV1030 machined 12mm piston with 2 x 1.5mm holes offers a conventional setup but with a tight-fitting piston that has little blow-by. It is recommended to use the 2 x 1.5 in truck or SC in the front with 30 – 35wt in order to get a little more pop off the jumps and a more direct feel of the track due to the extra weight of the vehicles compared to buggies. AVID offers popular 2 hole 1.5mm, 1.6mm and 1.7mm as well as 4 hole 1.3mm (#55) flat pistons. Piston Tips Use the 2 x 1.5 piston in truck or SC in the front with…

March 10, 2013 Categories: RC News, The Big RC Comment
The second Big RC/ Twizzler cup was help at Top Gear Hobbies Saturday. The second round was for stock buggies and had a great race. Alex Blix was the guy to beat with his TQ and solid run in the main with his AE B4.2. Aiden Focht running a Durango took second after a series of mishaps in quals left him 3rd on the grid (rumor has it he is switching to AE). It was also his birthday, so a bag of Twizzlers seemed fitting. Rounding out the podium was Dave Montgomery with his Kyosho.

Focht beats Kellogg by default
March 7, 2013 Categories: RC News, The Big RC Comment
Focht beats Kellogg when Kellogg breaks. After taking the lead early in the race and basically owning the field, he ended up breaking and letting Focht beat him. It seems that Kellogg thought by switching the the same vehicle as Focht, he would be able to beat him. That was not the case. Kellogg took off like a rabbit and was owning the field, as he came up to lap Focht he must have got caught in the tailwind of Focht’s hyper speed and that caused him to hit the wall and break his rig. It could also have been the fear of getting…

Sorry, but this means one thing to me. Be very careful and don’t give any money or information to them. This “association” seems to be hiding something. Stay tuned as we find out more.
