Alex Eklund goes 1-2-3 at 2012 JC Winter Indoor Nats
A very long but fun weekend of racing at Smac Trac in St Louis for the Jconcepts Winter Indoor Nationals. Once all entries were entered into the computer there was about 370+ entries. Alex competed in the Stock SCT, Stock Buggy and Stock Truck. Alex noticed in the pit area that there were a lot of racers running Ghosted tires. For his SCT, Buggy and Truck he went with regular Pro-Line M4 Suburbs with P-L Closed Cell Foam. The Suburbs seem to have very consistent forward and side bite on the smooth Clay track all weekend. Smac Trac was full of Fast Drivers in Stock and Mod Classes from all over the Nation. This race, they decided to lock 8 drivers into the A-Main and bump 2 from every lower main. The first A-Main started at 5 pm and finished at 11:30pm Sunday night which put me home at 5:30am !
After all the mains were done alex had swept A1 and A2 of Stock SCT and a Win in A3 of Stock Buggy. He took home Stock SCT – 1st , Stock Buggy – 2nd , Stock Truck – 3rd…
